Sri Balaji Temple at Tirumala is the most famous Vaishnavite(devotees of lord Vishnu) temple in the world. The presiding deity of Balaji here is referred to as Venkateshwara. There are many legends regarding this temple.

Sri Venkatachala Mahatyam is the most accepted legend among these, which provides the history of the temple across the various yugas. This place had also been mentioned in many puranas. Its been said as

“Venkatadri samasthanam

Brahmande nasti kinchana,
Venkatesha samodevo
na bhuto na bhavishyati”

“There is no place in the entire Universe which is equal to Tirumala and there is no other God equal to Venkatesha in the past, present or will be in the future.

Join us on an unforgettable spiritual tour to Tirumala-Tirupati where Lord Balaji(Krsna) is waiting for you to come and meet Him. Tirumala is famously known as Bhu-Vaikunta or the spiritual abode on earth. This land of kirtans, bhajans, deity worship and philosophy. Many acharyas, kings and devotees have mentioned that darshan of Lord Balaji and His service should only be the goal of everyone’s life.

Chanting loudly “Govinda-Govinda” and swiftly floating in the flood of devotees to honor one glimpse of the Lord will be the most memorable experience.

Many devotees visit Tirumala for the most exciting thing – to get Srivari Laddu parasad.
